Audi R8 5.2 V10 came to our workshop from Sweden w

Audi R8 5.2 V10 came to our workshop from Sweden with complains about power and acceleration.
From factory it has 525 HP at 8000 rpm and 530 Nm at 6500 rpm. Car has been at some tuning shop in Sweden where they deleted intake swirl flaps and tuned engine. Results wasn't as expected.
After diagnostics at our workshop we found out few minor electrical problems but the biggest was “swirl flaps” deletion and TFSI/FSI main problem – Carbon Buildup. First of all we tested it in dyno. With Swedish tuner software it had only 475 HP and 460 Nm. Which is -50 HP and -70Nm from stock power. Next - wrote back original software and tested it. Even worse - 445 HP and 445 Nm. From stock -80 HP and -85 Nm. Intake was cleaned by walnut blasting so we didn't needed to disassemble whole engine. After engine and software repair we have got back stock power and little bit more. Really fun to work with such supercar. Power on dyno 535 HP and 511 Nm.

GTB2260VKLR turbo from Mercedes
HF160 injectors
Custom exhaust manifold
Front mount intercooler These injectors are really big, even for this turbo. As there is no technical parameters available, we used wideband lambda to setup injection quantity. Engine and gearbox remap + pops and bangs.
On dyno 348HP and 463Nm
After remap 436HP un 523Nm.
Power gain +88HP un 60Nm. Only by programming gearbox we got +15HP and 23Nm (first dyno sheet).
Ideal car for tuning. Without any mechanical mods. We have also supercharger pulley for Stage 2 modifications. P.S. Gearbox remap in mandatory to get whole engine potencial. Now it has @turbosystems.info hybrid turbo
Tuning before 205 HP un 456Nm.
Tuning with our software - 250 HP un 550 Nm. Torque and power increase at any engine speed range.
Again this is proof that if you want good result, you can't tune your car properly at some begginers place who is just downloading some other tuners work from Poland, Lithuania or Russia. This is just proof that this tuner dont know what he is doing. No warranty that you will get good power increase, because job is done remotely by someone else who doesn't know anything about exact car.
